Bought the set as a look under my MX5 found that the rear bushes were shot. I could see right through the bushes they were so worn.
All you need to remove the old bushes on the rear is a 14mm socket and a 14mm spanner. Plus a dousing of WD40 overnight and a good strong arm as the nuts were a pig to remove. Bought a new set of bolts from Mazda to replace the worn ones I removed. MX5parts really should sell these.
Once the link arms were removed I popped out the bushes, easy for me with access to a press, but I wouldnt like to try without one, they are bonded tight. I then shot blasted the links and sprayed them, and the roll bar with black Hammerite spray, and they look like new now. Just got to do the front ones now.. One thing, the pack of link bushes is supplied with 4 washers, but no instrustions or guides to where they actually go, no one at mx5parts knew either, so they were put on either side of the new bush where the drop link bolts to the roll bar..
Didnt notice any difference in the handling yet, but its not the weather to push the car round corners yet... Im also going to tackle the rear wishbone bushes as well soon as my 5 has problems with the rear in tight corners and its so rattley... But thats going to cost dearly with bushes, bolts, shocks and springs... ouch.
Once again, the service was great from the guys at MX5parts... ordered at 1pm, and it was in my hands the next morning, super duper.
