Surprisingly easy to fit by removing the glovebox.

Once you've seen both sets of photos you will know exactly where you are trying to fit the connector. Took me about 10 minutes. The aerial is easier to replace than it is to remove, so don't worry about how tight it feels when you're removing it.
The connector can sit happily in the glove box or you can route things anywhere you like, there's plenty of space.
The dock connection sounds a lot better than the headphone jack input.
It does work with an iPhone in flight safe mode.
