Odd piece of kit this. I plugged it into the Bose system on my 2006 NC Sport and it sort of worked then, it sort of did not work! Advancing tracks on the steering wheel caused the music to stop. Pressing the next track button on the head unit started the track but advanced by six seconds. The only way to play a next selection from the start is to press the random button on the head unit.

Often the unit will play the first few seconds of a track FOUR TIMES THEN STOP!

I have used a 256MB MP3 player and a 2GB USB dongle. I have tried tracks with no folder, tracks contained in one folder and all tracks contained in individual folders. Seems to work best without any folders at all. The track info shown on the head unit is odd and virtually meaningless.

As an interface between a standard MP3 player headphone output and the Bose unit it works well and the sound is good however the price is too much for that limited function alone. Rating: 3 of 5 Stars! [3 of 5 Stars!]
