So far, the easiest exterior part I have had to fit.
I sent back the budget woven steel mesh one as it had some manufacturing faults. Even if it hadn't it was a dog to fit and overpriced. This black grille is better suited to the Mazda's design - understated, functional and classy.
All you get is the grill. No bolts, fasteners or clips. All you have to do is use a 10 mm spanner, undo two bolts, place the grill in place and replace bolts - 5 minute job!
As the grille is flat as a pancake, and the mouth of your car isn't, you might want to form the grille to match the car's contours. All I did was insert a couple of coat hanger hooks in the middle at top and bottom position and gently pulled. The grill is a perfect fit and quite malleable. To get a perfect forms I repeated the same procedure at each end to even the curve out. You are probably aiming for about 1 inch curve. Tighten the bolts again after forming the grill.
