Super quick delivery. Nice little bit of kit, although you do regret having to pay close to £50 for it. However a Mazda dealer quoted me £10 more! So thanks to MX5PARTS for the super deal.
The tricky part is the removal of the old (busted by kids trying to break into my car) lock. You have to remove the back panel which is held on by no fewer than 101 bolts! Ok, so I may be over exaggerating a little, but it sure felt like it.
Even once I'd got all the bolts off, I found 3 plastic plugs still holding firm, I'm sorry to say that the only way they were coming off was with brute force.
Once you've got the panel off it's a 5 min job to unscrew the old lock and screw the new one in.
Many thanks MX5PARTS, I've almost repaired all the damage them little brats did to my beloved car now.
