Just finished today, fitting new eibach springs, KYB shocks, polybushes all round, track rod ends, and ball joints. I can say that this combination has totally transformed the ride of the car. My 1991 Roaster was a rattle prome car, that felt unsafe to drive on the road sometimes. But now it drives like new. Nice firm handling and the bushes have cured a problem with squeeks and a very bad tail out tendancy in powed corners.
The whole installation was carried out with a piece of 10mm rod and some nuts and large washers. (Focus about £5.00) Had to replace many bolts and nuts on the process. The only real pig was the lower rear wishbone bolt which needed some persuasion with a lump hammer to remove it. Use soapy water to lube up the bushes to fit and tighten up the rod and nuts to pull home or remove the bushes. Very east to do as part of a suspension upgrade, pricey but well worth the result.
Didnt need a pair of spring compressors once.
