I got this fitted by my mates dad who owns a garage. He says the cheapest other Cat he could find was only £20 cheaper for a standard MILD STEEL one.

My 10th anniversary had a dodgy ignition coiuld which was causing unburned fuel to poison the catalyst. Ignition coils only available as a pair and only from Mazda, a snip at £164. Not.

Regardless Tam (My mate's dad) says this is a fine piece of kit and easily well worth the money.

Interestingly i noticed the engine revs slightly quicker (say 5%) and also the exhaust is slightly more rorty between 2000 and 3000 rpm and above 4500rpm. Haven't noticed any change in quickness of the car.

I am getting the slotted discs and kevlar pads next as it's always advisable to upgrade the brakes and suspension (all 10th anniversary come with blistein shocks so no need here) before adding performance enhancing engine mods. These will be in the shape of a IL Motorsports twin exhaust (the Honda 2000 lookalike) and an Rspeed monster induction.

Part was ordered before 3pm and arrived the next day at midday. Rating: 5 of 5 Stars! [5 of 5 Stars!]
