Great looking quality parts. First one took an hour and a quarter to fit, perhaps these are a 'mk2.5' part as the fittings supplied with the handles didn't attach to the lock rods in the doors of our mk2.
Once I figured out to swap the fittings across from the old handle to the new the other side took about 5 minutes to fit! I leave the following hints for propective purchasers:
1: disconnect the lower (catch actuating) arm by releasing it from the retaining clip.
2: unscrew the old handle from the door
3: using long-nose pliers pinch the top of the lock actuator arm retaining clip together, ease it through the hole in the lock lever and extract the old handle from the door.
4: remove the coloured plastic rod retaining clips from the back of the new handle & replace with the lower clip from the old handle. (the opening will face outwards making future maintenance easier)
5: from this point, install in the reverse order of removal!
Hope this helps someone.
