There were no fitting instructions with this, however there are some useful tips for the similar alloy product. Fitting the gearknob is dead simple - it just screws on. Removing the old plastic handbrake cover is best done by first warming with a hair dryer to soften the adhesive. This will take several minutes to allow the heat to penetrate, then the old cover can be twisted off. The plastic release button unscrews from the spindle. Retain the spring, then screw on the new chrome button. The chrome sleeve is a tight fit, so lubricate with WD40 and help it on with a few taps from a soft faced mallet. The end result looks very smart - a definate improvement!
