bought these over 6months ago now for my mk 2.5. delivery was very quick and customer service good but product is of very poor design and build quality.
i have had knocking noises caused by the suspension but i have had it checked over that many times by different garages no one has been able to find out what it is even though the suspension is fitted properly. customer service is very good and i had 2 new rear shocks sent out to me but to no avail it has started knocking again. also the adjusting spring seat and the locknut are very loose on the thread of the shock absorber they lower the car after a while and i have had to resort to using other means to stop this
the design of this kit is also very poor as it is meant to be height adjustable but if you want to lower the suspension so that the wheels are tucked just into the arch the locknut for the spring seat scrapes on the driveshaft to the rear wheel. the suspension at the front i have hired to the very top of the shock absorber and it only just gives a very small clearance between the wheel and the arch where as the rear wheels have a huge gap between the wheels and the arch and it is lowered as much as i can lower it before it scrapes on the driveshaft, which makes the car look stupid. really a smaller spring should have been used for the rear and a larger spring used for the front.
after all the money i have had to spend on fitting and having problems checked out i wish i hadnt bought these now and had gone for the koni kit or even kept the standard suspension on.
Editors Note: Problem 2. This is the classic descripion of a car that has the rear springs fitted to the front and the front springs fitted to the rear. The heavier/shorter spring should be on the front and the lighter/longer spring on the rear.
Problem 1. You need to fix problem 2 first, If problem one persists, we will gladly supply replacements.
