I changed this as I had a small oil leak coming from the CAS area. I changed the CAS 'O' ring first and then did the cam cover. I now wish I'd done the CAS 'O' ring at the same time, as once the cam cover is removed, replacing the CAS is much easier as you can see what you're doing when trying to locate the CAS drive dogs into their correct positions.
The cam cover gasket is a good quality part that was easy to fit. As others have said I used some instant gasket in the recommended areas and replaced the cam cover, tightening up in the correct sequence and to the correct level of torque.
So far there has been no more oil dripped onto my garage floor!
