Door Lock Release Spring
Quite often these break on the Mk1 rendering the door handle inoperable, and as they were never available from Mazda, the only option was to replace the complete lock assembly. Well, not anymore! We have had these little springs manufactured here in the UK to exactly the same specification as the original, right down to the tension and the 90 degree offset on the hooks. Fitting is simple, although removal of the lock mechanism is required.
