The door mounting brackets included in this set have the large locating bump on the bottom which means your door must have a large hole in between the two bolt holes for it to fit properly, some doors only have a small hole (similar diameter to the bolt holes). If like me your door doesn't have the large central hole (one door had the other one hadn't) don't worry, it's easy enough to file down the locating bump on the bracket. It's aluminium and only took me 5 minutes with a small hand file.
I've found that the glass isn't the smoothest in the world so there is some distortion in the image in the mirror but not enough to worry about too much.
All in all a decent bit of kit at a great price, just a shame about the door mounts.
For reference the correct assembly sequence of the bits is: bolt, washer, spring (small end onto the bolt first), plastic dome section (flat face against the spring), mounting bracket, plastic cover, metal dome then screw it all into the captive nut in the mirror housing.
