These speakers are not a direct replacement for the originals but are really easy to fit. Take out the old ones, align the new speaker with one of the existing upper fixings and insert a screw to locate the speaker centrally in the door hole. Then simply mark three other holes on the door. Drill a hole with a slight clearance (say 5mm drill) for the screw and fit your new speaker using the body fasteners (supplied) and new screws. I didn't see the need for the spacer or any other bits from the old speakers as there is plenty of clearance from the door cover panel. (I did trim a little plastic off the upper pop fastener location just to get the trim to fit perfectly snugly around the edge of the speaker frame) The sound is truly great for the cost and well worth the effort to fit!
