The filter itself is outstanding and great product 5/5 stars - delivery 5/5 stars as usual with mx5 parts - customer service 0/5 stars , I made 2 orders on the same day as I forgot to add in the k&n filter to my first order so I phoned to ask if this could be added to my exsiting order - To my dismay I was told no because of there automated system and I would have to pay an extra £3.77 for delivery of the filter ( no orders had left the depot at this point ) and to even more dismay the gentlemen just put the phone down on me !!!!! No goodbye or anything just a straight hang up...... I must say everytime I have phoned they have always been more than helpful , maybe someone was just having an off day.
Editors Note: Please accept my apologies on behalf of the member of staff you spoke to. There is no excuse for that. However, in their defence, we are training three new members of sales staff who are, at times, finding it difficult to take everything on board.
With regards to adding to your order, I am afraid that you needed to follow the instructions in the Order Confirmation email that you were sent immediately after placing your order. As stated in that email, if you need to change an order, you MUST reply to that email with your instructions. Our automated system holds all orders to which we receive an email reply so that we can make any amendments. As you placed your order before 8pm on the Saturday, you had plenty of time to send us an email before your order was processed at 8.15am on the Monday and once we have processed your order, it is impossible for us to amend it. This is because order processing involves a full security check, allocation of stock to your order, and processing your payment. For your security, no changes can be made to your order once this process has taken place.
