Another good cheap modification with real results. Ok, it's fairly minor overall but it does make the engine freer revving at over about 4-5000 revs, the needle wizzes up to the top end. It sounds a bit more sporty too.
It doesn't get five stars because there are questions over how effective the filter is. The argument goes that the air can get through the filter faster because there is less filtering. Less filtering means that more dust gets into your precious engine causing wear and tear. Well, who knows. It's still a good modification and saves money over time (it will last longer than your car). If you're reading this then you already know that you want one - do it!
