Thankfully the instructions that "MX5parts" included with this filter were spot on.
I (and I'm a girl - a blonde one!!) managed to remove the necessary parts correctly (and in the correct order) with no damage to my AFM , and attach the new filter and brackets etc.
The only difficulties I had were a) getting the filter onto the adapter - warming the rubber up helps, and b) getting the brackets to attach correctly so the AFM is straight - needed to bend the L shaped one a bit more so the angle was correct.
Took me about 1 & 1/2 hours but I was very careful to read & re-read all the instructions.
I can feel the difference in throttle response - it feels (and sounds) much sharper & cleaner; and the fact that i never have to buy an air filter again, makes it worth 60 quid.
Go on, treat yourself (and your car)!
