Good part. Engine picks up nicely at around 3000rpm a little better now and slight change in sound (I have the twin port exhaust so to be honest I can hardly hear the filtercharger anyway).
When installing, I cut a piece of rubber to use as a heat shield in between the filtercharger and the ABS brake unit and proped it up using a short steel bar which i screwed into one of the sockets left by the orginal filter. Apart from that, take note of all previous notes on MX5 Parts.
There does seem to be a number of schools of thought about how to install and the air intake pipe i just dropped down through the engine to a little access hole in the protection panel at the base of the car. This is quicker, easier, tidier and based on the great aerodynamics of the car will drive air straight up the pipe and into the filtercharger. I personally, don't recommend that you place it infront of the radiator or anywhere near the mouth of the car. This is unnecessary and you will have more likely of water ingress.
Apart from changing to the ignition time (which is quite simply a must for any MX5 owner) from 9 to 14 degrees or removing the Cat, it is probably the best non turbo modification that you can make to the vehicle. It drives more spritely, more responsive and sounds a little different but all very minimal. For £69, you can't go wrong but don't expect miracles.
Excellent delivery time as usual. Hope that this helps.
