Genuine Mazda modified fuel filler non return valve.
Does it take an age to get fuel into your car? Petrol station nozzle keep cutting out every 30 pence? If so, this is the little blighter that's causing the problem. This is the modified version that Mazda fitted during a recall some years ago. Fitting is fairly straight forward. You need to remove some of the boot trims to access the large pipe off the bottom of the filler neck. Undo the clamp, slide the rubber hose off and replace the existing valve in the end of the metal pipe with this one............problem solved!
Fits all Mk2 & 2.5 models, 1998>2005
Please note: If you are going to fit this yourself, although you won't lose any fuel by disconnecting the pipe, you will be working on the fuel system right next to the battery, so please make sure you disconnect it before you start.
