My Mk2.5 already had all the hardtop mountings and electrics in so there was zero faffage there. Nice to see that the frankenstien bolts, side mounts and trim panels (I'm assuming they're Mk2/2.5 only) come with the kit even though they were not needed. Fitting was a breeze with only a small adjustment of one of the catches neccessary.

The hardtop transforms the car for winter into a very nice place to be. Better insulated, better 3/4 vision and it makes the car look like a coupe. No rattles and it completely eliminates scuttle shake.
