Part of my first purchase from MX5PARTS and I found the service excellent. Wish I had discovered this company before I purchased my new RC which I had some dealer-fitted accessories.
Although these Mud Guards (front and back) are rather small and IMHO still a tad expensive (even at MX4PARTS prices), the quality of this Mazda product is excellent and this price is still a massive saving on the dealer-fitted price. Like others have said before me, I too was worried about being able to fit them without messing things up, so put the task off for a week or two. Finally plucked up the courage and went ahead - I don't know why I was worried as the instructions were very clear and the fitting of the front guards very easy.
You don't need to jack up the car, just turn the front wheels out of the way. Use a small box spanner and a cross-head screw-driver on the bolts and screws. Removing the under-sill cut-out is really easy with a sharp Stanley Knife - just take care not to over-do it and catch the chassis or cut beyong the pre-scored area. I didn't have a torque wrench to tighten up the bolts/screws but didn't find that a problem. All very easy and even taking my time and admirng my work as I went along :-) they were fitted in a lot less than 30 mins. Not sure how good they will be as they are quite small but I am certain they will reduce stone-chipping on the sills and doors. By the way, fit all 4 guards for best effect, front and back. These look great on my Copper Red RC!
