My car has an updated 6 pin white connector, instead of the 4 pin blue connector. You cannot plug this HRW switch into the white connector. There is a 6 pin HRW Switch available, but MX5Parts don't sell it, and it's quite expensive. It is also a push button type switch instead of the 'rocker' switch that this product is. The Mazda fog light switch is also the 'rocker' type.
I decided to keep this switch and figure out how to wire it up manually.
For those interested in doing the same here's how you wire it up. Looking at the back of the switch you should see the following pin layout.
| x 1 3 |
| x 2 4 |
Wires should be attached as described below:
x - No Pin Present
1 - Blue/Red Wire (Power to HRW)
2 - Violet Wire (Power to HRW)
3 - Red/Black Wire (Provides night time illumination when lights are on)
4 - Red Wire (Provides night time illumination when lights are on)
