These silicon hoses are light years better than the originals; they will probably outlast the car. This was the last of the original hoses that I have replaced, but I certainly saved the best (worst) hose till last. This hose is just about impossible to get at with the engine end tucked behind the block and below the coil pack so to get any access at all I seemed to be taking the whole engine apart.
In fairness I also had a small oil leak at the rear of the engine so I did change the CAS O-ring and put a new seal on the cam cover at the same time, but it was still a fiddly and knuckle grazing job for a small hose.
Unlike previous reveiwers I have re-used the spring clips to anchor the hoses quite successfully; yes, the new hoses are thicker so yes, the clip doesn't close quite as far, but each clip seems quite secure.
