Agree with the previous posting. Getting the original lamp out of the Mk2 is the hardest part, not only due to the fact you'll have to twist your neck right round to see what you're doing, but also because the lamp has a hidden retaining catch on it's lefthand side. When you think you've unbolted the unit, it won't come off. Depressing the catch with a screwdriver put into the slot and a firm pull is enough to release the unit and remove it safely. The replacement part bolts straight in, and the wiring's a doddle, using spade connectors to connect the lamp back into the original wiring loom plug. After all that work, it certainly looks the biz.
