To fit this you only need to remove the 2 nuts, which hold it in place. I found it was fairly difficult to get access to the 2 nuts.
It was easier to remove the boot to get better access. Got the 2 nuts off, popped out the old light, installed the new one, put the 2 nuts back. Job done, took about 30 minutes.
My only concern was that the rubber seal around the light was a bit too visible for my liking, but as my mx5 is black is hardly shows. It looks great with my clear rear lights.
