1) The head unit is very good value for money and has a nice sound but was hard to fit in to the side bracket mounts off of the original unit. I would sugges replacing the original cabling however as in a word it is awful!
2) Don't use an electric screw driver on the dash where you mount the hear unit as the plastic is very easy to snap as I found out to my dismay.
3) The cubby looks nice but due to the fact that it is not supplied with instructions or screws is an absolute nightmare to fit. I mean at least provide the fitting screws. I spent half an hour in MFI looking for the right screws but no I had to resort to araldite in the end!! This is rediciulious. SCREWS SHOULD BE PROVIDED!!
4) The connector if perfect!
5) The radio works great!
Screws are provided! They are in the little plastic bag that is stapled to the top of your invoice.
The radio should NOT be mounted to the original side brackets! These are specially made to take the factory unit, not aftermarket ones. USE THE CAGE SUPPLIED WITH THE RADIO. This mounts to the centre face plate/cubby box combination and the radio just slides into it.
