Had this kit fitted about 6 months ago and am half way through saving up for a replacement. Love the ride and handling, but the car is so low at the front that you can either go in a straight line or over bumps but any combination of the two is a complete no no.
There is not a single A or B road that I can drive with any like the gusto I could with the original set up for constant fear of grounding the front. Probably more a problem with the bad British roads but seems ridiculous to sell the kit when it makes the car nigh on unuseable.
Roll on the replacement.
The ride height is adjustable by means of a three position circlip on the shock body to raise or lower the bottom spring pan. We fit these set to either the top position or the middle one but never the bottom! When fitted to the top position the car should ride about 30mm lower than standard
I really do not think a one star rating is warranted for these, but suspension is such a personal thing I'll leave it as marked. However, we sell dozens of these kits and most of the sales are down to 'word of mouth' so there are a lot of very happy owners out there!
