The most difficult part of fitting proved to be removing the existing plastic fastenings. As the instructions describe the lower fittings can just be prised out. However, there is no way the upper ones could be forced out on my 2005 model. These clips can theoretically be unscrewed if you can get hold of the miniscule round heads. Having wasted a lot of time trying to do this I found the simplest and least damaging method was to use a small serrated knife to cut the clip by inserting it between the nose and the plastic body work. This way any scratching is hidden. After getting rid of the existing fastenings fitting is simple provided you have a ratchet set or an assistant and use plenty of washing up liquid to ease the rubber edging into place.
