Usual super fast delivery from MX5Parts - thanks guys
I did think long and hard about which grill to go for, but so glad I decided to push the boat out expense wise and go for the Lockwood. It is very good quality and well contructed with all the bits you need to fit it. It looks classy once in place and improves the look of the front no end
The instructions were just fine with step by step text and matching pictures. Would recommend reading through the instructions (while at the front of the car) at least once before you start work and you will find it all very straight forward.
Took me about 45 minutes to fit working at a leisurely pace.
Things to look out for?:-
One of the tie-down hooks was out of alignment with the slot in the grill....a few carefully aimed swipes with a sledge hammer sorted that out
The top brackets are a little bit fiddly to bolt down, but not difficult
Take the advice in the instructions to protect your paintwork with a piece of paper or card when fitting the brackets as they can slide out of alignment when your tightening the bolt up
Silicon spray works just as well as fairly liquid as a lubricant and doesn't leave a residue to clean off afterwards.
