WE bought the genuine Mazda replacement rear window. Great service, delivered next day.
Fairly easy to fit following instructions in owners workshop manual - except that our mark 1 (1995) did not require any rivets drilling off the hood frame as instructed in the manual, this must just apply to the pre 1995 versions I guess.
You really need two pairs of hands for this job - I would not fancy removing/refitting the brittle plastic rainrail on my own. The worst part is removing the 19 rivets from the rain rail with side cutters - fortunately you only need to replace two rivets (joining the hood to the base of the window) with pop rivets.
A realistic time to allow for careful removal (the rainrail is very brittle and could easily break) and refitting is about seven hours. It now looks as good as new!
