I've been waiting for MX5 Parts to stock one of these for AGES :) The moulded hinge on the original lid had split causing it to wobble about. Obviously I wanted it to be secure as the release for the fuel cap and boot are within the console space. Getting the old one off was relatively easy, however beware of the cap around the support arm of the lid that snaps into the console itself, it's a swine trying to get it out without scratching the plastic of the console.

All in all a genuine Mazda part at a substantially cheaper price. Can't fault it.
