I bought this following a snapping sound as I tried to wind my window down to order a drive through McDonalds! Thought about just buying cables and a drum but it seemed easier (and about the same price) to buy the whole thing ready assembled. I folowed the instructions in the excellent Veloce Enthusiasts Workshop Manual (get one if you haven't already) and in under an hour had a working window again. Two minor difficulties: 1) I have aftermarket central locking so access to one nut was a tad limited and 2) getting the old wider out of the door casing was a bit of a struggle. I found that removing the quarterlight pillar lower fixing nut helped in removal of old and insertion of the new assembly. At last I can enter carparks without having to open my door to grab tickets!
