Fisrt I have to mention what an excellent company you are dealing with, parts came through very quickly, I had been contemplating about replacing the cable in my drivers door. I read all the reviews on this site and after a month, decided to bite the bullit. I copied and pasted all thew reviews which gave me tips and purchased the Worshop Manual. I do not have any mechanical experience but do have a little common sense, so complete with my manual, tool box, cup of tea, a bottle of coke and a packet of fags (this afterall was done outside, so I couldnt get fined !!!), I set to work. The tips in the reviews were soooo important as, although the Manual is superb, its great to come across problems that might not crop up if you are not a mechanic. Cut a long story short, took me 3 hours and 50 minutes and what a brilliant feeling when completed and it works. Hints - use loads of grease when winding the cables on the drum, thats easy just a little slpippery, trust me YOU DO have enough cable when trying to put the short cable round the pulley and secure it but as someone mentioned, if you think there is not enough length then you have to tighten the 2 black rubber screws on top of the motor which the cables run through, this will extend them a little give you a bit more play, loads of scratches and a little swearing but managed it in the end, thanks to the reviews and MXparts for supplying manual and parts. Definately paid for its self and some. Good Luck.
