I would advise against these OEM parts as I recently had one fail, this pump started leaking straight away after fitting and got continually worse within 3 months needed replacing. The bearings within the pump had collapsed and had several millimetres of play; water was spilling out of the small hole and the pulley.

I have ordered and fitted a brand new original Mazda part (£103.00) which is far better quality; this includes an O ring and two gaskets. Although this is expensive I would prefer to fit this for piece of mind. Mine is being sent back to Mazda Mx5 parts and I will definitely never buy another pump unless original from dealer.
