I bought a set of front and rear mintex pads and one of the rear pads broke whereby the pad and backing plate has started to come apart. I am in two minds to fit the front. I entered into communication with MX5 parts where they entertained the idea of sending the defective pad off for investigation to Mintex but have not answered my last email, requesting info on where to send etc. So i decided to order a new set so that i can send in the old ones. I entered a request on the comments section when ordering which has been ignored. I have ordered a fair few things from MX5 parts over the last year which have always been a great online experience, but my overall opinion of the service has gone down now.
We are sorry to hear you had problems with the pads. As with all our products, any suspected fault must be confirmed by the manufacturer.
We have been in contact with the customer, and replacement pads have been issued.
