Just finished fitting my stainless grill without cut outs. Took me an hour and a half altogether. Removing the strap down brackets was ok once under the car. I found the grill flexible enough to manouevre into place. The bodywork being plastic helped as well. I stuck spacers between the grill and the body (couple of big bolts) to allow the grill to stand straight and so had to use longer bolts (and new washers) as a few people here have found. Silver car looks good with the chrome, totally satisfied. As an idea for the cut out version I think I would paint the hooks silver or black.
