The wait for the parts to come into stock was worth it, but it took longer than expected to fit as the adaptor bolt had to be cut down to size. Once the correct length was achieved it did only take a minute or so to fit. Now I can put my MX-5 in the garage without catching the original aerial on the door every time and bending it. The new stubby aerial performs just as well as the original with no loss of signal strength.
