Oh dear !!! have I fallen into the trap that I have been reading about in the current reviews for this battery. History........ bought a \'Halfords\' type standard battery but it kept loosing its charge after a couple of days (alternator tested and OK) so I had to carry 2 batteries in my \'92 Roadster to be safe (auto so can\'t jump start). Then I bought this WestCo battery and read the instructions carefully noting the technology. Battery arrived, no complaints about the service (5 Star). New battery in car 3 days, go to start today, battery dead. So tonight it goes on a trickle charge for a couple of days and I\'ll try again with maybe a 30 mile run to fully charge. If that doesn\'t work ANY SUGGESTIONS please.
Editors Note: Please read the Care instructions sent with the battery (or downloadable from the product page). An auto that looses its charge almost definately has a faulty inhibitor switch on the gearbox. It is the box on the side of the shift lever, under the centre console. Try disconnecting it and see if it solves the problem.
