I was a little concerned when reading other reviews that it would ruin the note of my 91 imported roadster. After thinking long and hard for month or so I decided to go for it!

Removal of the cat was a complete nightmare because of the original weather beaten bolts. After a crazy solution and bit of patience I managed to remove the nuts with an angle grinder. To my joy the back box shifted back and the cat dropped. With bypass pipe fitted in seconds I was raring to go.

The first thing you notice is that the exhaust note sounds fantastic, especially 2500+ rpm with my standard Bosal rear back box. It really does sound like a vintage sports car. You will see what I mean when you drop cog and let her go. mmmm. The only slight drawback (and I mean slight) is that it does sound a little flat (as if your back box sprung a tiny leak) below 2000rpm. But you shouldn’t allow this to put you off!

I could instantly feel the increase in power when I took it for a quick test drive. It picks up much quicker and is so much better through the gears I regret not getting one sooner! Very happy.

I knew that by removing the cat my car would go further on fuel but I didn’t expect it to be this good. I spend so much less time & money filling my car up with 97ron that it makes me smile. This thing will pay for itself. Just ask someone who has fitted one. Major plus!

If it’s a sports note, more power and better fuel economy, look no further!
