The quality of the finish is excellent on this and it is also stainless steel so it's very good value.

I couldn't be bothered fitting this myself although I usually do the work on my car. I paid £15 for a wrench monkey to do it. It was a perfect fit and didn't need any gum to seal it up as all the gaskets are provided.

The idle and pick up are noticeably smoother there is a small but noticable increase in power. The sound is quieter at the lower speeds. When you put your foot down you can hear the difference, it's a slightly muffled burble similar to an induction kit.

If you have a pre 92 MX5 or a pre 95 Eunos or Miata, it's worth considering but only when you have tried other things such as an induction kit or aftermarket sports exhaust. This is mainly due to MOT hassles especially with later models otherwise I would say it's a definite buy. Check with VOSA whether you could get your car through the MOT without a CAT. They were very helpful and informative about the actual rules rather than the rubbish you read on google.

I own a 93 Eunos Roadster. Rating: 5 of 5 Stars! [5 of 5 Stars!]
