Looks just like the original, fits the same way and does the same job, so why pay more?
I've had the dreaded clutch squeak, it started the week after I got the car so I just put up with it.
Over time the noise has got louder (sounded like a stuck seagull every time I changed gear) and the clutch started to feel notchy. After scouring the internet I realised that it was most likely the slave cylinder so undid the old one and lubed it as some had suggested. This cured it for all of 30 minutes but I knew I was on the right lines. Fearing the clutch was also knackered I decided to risk the 15 pounds and as I'd already had both bolts undone, I realised I could change this pretty easily.
Most fiddly part without doubt is fitting the pipe back on and even though I did this first, it took an age to line up properly, didn't help that I have large hands, working in a tight space underneath but I stuck with it and eventually the pipe was secured and the slave bolted back in place.
And what a difference, not just the squeak - feels like I fitted a new clutch. Never realised how stiff the old one was and the horrible notchy feeling has gone.
15 quid very well spent!
