MX5Parts were as reliable as usual in supplying quality spares promptly to help keep our little treasures running and looking well (my Eunos is 17 years young now) especially as I was unable to source from anywhere else other than used ones and only for one side ! They seemed expensive but well worth it as they’re genuine Mazda parts and provided the finishing touch by getting rid of the unsightly perished and rusty old ones.
I have to agree however with the recurring theme that it would be a nice touch and improvement to their service if they included removal and re-fitting instructions wherever appropriate but fortunately, there’s some good material on the web from MX5 / Eunos / Miata owners for most jobs which I find is usually more informative with their do’s and don’ts than my Haynes manual and the following one enabled me to remove, clean and replace both sides in about 30 mins :
Note : I found long nosed pliers safer for my bodywork than a screwdriver to remove the clips as it both releases the small catch in the middle and grips the clip to prevent it dropping down inside the door.
