Superb speakers for the price.
In case of mk1 '95. The speakers need to be drilled in 2 places to make sure all 3 screws fit securely (essential for sound quality) and the connectors need to removed from their plastic housing. This is easy to do and could be attempted by any monkey with a drill and a pair of pliers (which is ironically my level of DIY mechanics).
This can be easily done by taking the cardboard template provided, marking the holes for the screws on the door, then placing over top of speaker. Then mark speaker and drill.
The speaker connectors are the same but have a plastic body over the top of them. Just maul it off with a pair of pliers being careful not to damage the connectors. Or cut and solder new connectors if u can be arsed.
Then go wake up the neighbours.
