The plinth is very easy to fit - the worst part is ensuring that you have it lined up correctly and level. On the back of the plinth is an arrow showing which way is 'up' :-). It is a little annoying that there are no instructions - not even mention of what size drill bit is needed. I used 7.5mm. 8 is probably ok, but 7.5 gives a definite tight fit on the expanding mountings. Having mark and drilled the holes, place the mountings thru the plinth and align with the holes. They should push in tightly. Then the bolts go through the mountings - they are threaded, but note that they PUSH in, expanding the mounts. The thread is for extraction. Snap, the plinth is firmly secured.

The fit is generally good, but not perfect, no matter where it is placed, there is a slight gap at the corners. Annoying, but probably not noticeable to most people. The bottom of the plinth is just above the grill hole.

Top tip, if you are screwing the plate to the plinth, you will probably need 3 or 4 bolts - make sure that you drill the relevant holes BEFORE mounting the plinth.

Overall I am very happy, but because of the less than perfect fit, and no instructions re drill size, I can only give 4/5. Rating: 4 of 5 Stars! [4 of 5 Stars!]
