The fitting instructions (around 8 pages of them) are not very clear and concise but I did manage to follow them to the letter in the end.
It involved stripping lots of the rear trim from the car NOT recomended outside on a freezing cold day !
Then when I came to fit the clips, the bolts are far too short and not just by one quarter of an inch either.
I would guess at at least half an inch !
So everything was reinstalled and the bolts were thrown somewhere away at the back of the garage.
I shall have to buy 4 of a longer version to make these clips fit and I feel I should NOT have to do this as it means stripping everything out yet again to fit the clips at a MUCH later date !
Fitting the Frankenstein bolts were a doddle though :-)
If the supplied bolts were too short, you were trying to fit them in the wrong place! The bolts only need to be about 10mm long.
