Good product, silly price but very speedy delivery. I have just fitted them in about 20 mins without taking the side trim panels off. With the hardtop fitted (but with front screen clips released), I simply raised the hardtop a couple of millimetres - which is enough to slip the mounting plates under the locating cones and it is easy then to drill 6mm holes through the plates. Just remember that the plates are handed !! By shining a light in, you can see the threaded mounting holes on the car and assess how close you are to correct. With a bit of careful 'Dremmeling' the shape of the oval hole can then be be cut out - I made a paper template. A high level of accuracy is not necessary as the overlap by the plate is large. Indeed, I found it preferable to make the oval holes quite oversized, to ensure that the plate takes up its correct position relative to the hardtop. Fit the bolts, secure the top at the front and torque up with a Torx 40. Job done!
