COVID-19 - Service Updates - MX5 Parts Info



Dear Customer,

MX5 Parts is actively monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact to our employees, suppliers and customers. At MX5 Parts the wellbeing of our employees and customers is of the utmost importance to us and will remain our top priority.

We are currently living through unprecedented times and so we have taken additional measures to protect our employees so we can continue to offer our customers the best experience with us.

Currently, all our online services are unaffected and we are processing and dispatching orders as normal. Clearly this situation has the potential to change very quickly so we will do our very best to keep you informed.

***Latest Service Status Update – Tuesday 24th March***

Due to recent Government advice, we have now closed our shop and workshop in Portsmouth until further notice in order to help reduce the spread of the virus and to protect our staff.

We are still taking orders online and our warehouse will remain open as normal. Due to the large volume of orders and reduced staff numbers there may a slight delay in dispatching your order. Please be advised that there may also be some delays in delivery times depending on the carrier.

Anyone who has their car booked into our workshop over the coming weeks will be contacted to rearrange their appointment.

PLEASE NOTE: Deliveries to ALL European countries are now only being made to residential addresses and ALL parcel collection points are now closed. Please ensure that when you place your order it is to your home or another suitable residential address where someone will be available to receive the parcel. If no one is home we can not guarantee what will happen to your parcel as the drivers will have no where else to take them. UK deliveries are currently unaffected but please be advised there may a short delay in delivery times.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we look forward to resuming full service as soon as possible. In the mean time, stay safe everyone.

***Latest Service Status Update – Wednesday 18th March***

All orders are being processed and dispatched from our warehouse, however delivery services are being affected in the following countries:

France – No deliveries to business addresses
Italy – No deliveries to business addresses
Spain – No deliveries to business addresses

At present, NO non urgent deliveries are being made to business addresses in these countries, however deliveries to residential addresses are currently unaffected so if you wish to place an order, please ensure you use your home, or another suitable residential address where someone will available to receive the parcel. Any orders we receive that are being sent to your place of work or another business will be held and you be contacted to provide alternative details.

We are in constant contact with our delivery partners and will continue to monitor this situation and update this page accordingly.
