MX5 Hoods & Hardtops

Hoods

A new hood is probably the most costly thing that needs replacing on an MX5, but also one of those things you can't really do without! Well, we're here to take the sting out of having your hood changed.

We have a wide range of Genuine Mazda and quality aftermarket hoods available from stock, and starting from just £378.95 including vat for a Mk1 Vinyl, we are certain to have something to suit most budgets. As you would expect, we also carry all the necessary parts to complete the job such as rain rails, hood seals, catches, frames, tension cables and springs. We can even wire in the heated rear window if you don't currently have one!

To book your car in, please visit the hoods section of the website and select which one you want, then call us on 02392 644588 to book an appointment. We will need the model and year of your vehicle, whether or not you have a heated rear window, and it is also worth checking the condition of your hood catches. If you can open them without pressing the button, they will need replacing at the same time as new hoods are under extreme tension when first fitted so if the catches are not in perfect working order the hood wont stay shut.

Free Hood Fitting!

As an added bonus, we also offer labour free fitting on our entire range of hoods saving you an additional £200! Call a member of the sales team on 02392 644588 to discuss the different hood options available and book your car in!

Terms & Conditions: Please note, the free fitting applies to the labour charge only. The hood, and any other parts required to complete the job must be paid for in full on the day. Unfortunately, we are unable to determine whether or not things such as the rain rail, tension cables or springs etc will need replacing until the hood has been removed from the car.
