when you spend nearly £20,000 on a new car with a supposedly full leather interior, you would expect the handbrake and gearstick gaiter, to be made of leather too. I suppose the bean counters at Mazda had to stick their oar in somewhere!!
This replacement is of good quality, and matches quite well with the rest of the leather in the car nicely. It's a bit fiddly to fit, but as with most after market parts, you have to work at it a little to get the fit you want! Yes, the sewn joins are a little thicker than the original, but that is probably because is part is made of leather and not PVC! It will last a lot longer too!
