Ordered lunchtime Monday, delivered Tuesday morning!
Once unpacked i noticed there was a few small scratches/scuff of the polished aluminium bar, but nothing too bad.
Fitting was very easy on my 1999 MK 2. I have the Typhoon induction kit so theres a lot of free space on the right hand side of the engine bay.
Bolts on the left were quite rusted, and trickier to get at, so in the process of taking off and putting back on ive managed to shear one, oops.
Once on it looks good, and the front feels a bit more solid from the off. Still get a bit of a jelly wobble effect over lumps and bumps and its hard to say how much its improved over standard. Maybe the matching rear would further improve, but i'd like to keep what small bootspace i have! Still, its cheaper than many aftermarket braces, and its reassuring to know it requires no permanent modifications or extra drilling to install.
